According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, more than 15,000 fires are sparked every year by clothes dryers. Lint and other debris can build up in your dryer vent, reducing air flow to the dryer, backing up dryer exhaust gases, creating a fire hazard. Lint is created from the clothes as water is removed during the drying process. This lint will build up in crevices deep down in the lint filter and inside the dryer vent.

Here is how we can keep your home safe: First, we run the dryer to determine how much air flow your dryer is putting out. Once we determine the air flow we begin the cleaning process utilizing either or compressed air, brushes or special tools designed for dryer vent cleaning. Second, we clean out the dryer vent chamber inside the dryer. We then pull your dryer from the wall and clean up any debris that may have fallen and accumulated behind your dryer and inspect, clean or replace the flexible hose that connects your dryer to the wall.

*If cleaning the vent requires 2nd story roof, attic or crawlspace access there will be a $35 additional charge. If additional repairs are needed, the price will be communicated at time of service.  If replacement of the transition hose is necessary the charge is $10.00.
